This Instant Pot Homemade Bread is a no-knead recipe making it extremely easy, even for beginners!
I love my Instant Pot and learning to make delicious fresh bread in it was so fun. There is nothing better than a fresh loaf of bread with dinner in my opinion.
I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but this Instant Pot homemade bread is so delicious.
Sometimes I like to sprinkle Italian seasoning on top before cooking.
You can also put a garlic glaze on the top with some fresh chopped tomatoes before toasting, it seriously takes this bread to another level of tasty!
Instant Pot Homemade Bread

Add some seasoning on top before cooking, a garlic glaze before toasting or just have it plain, it is simply delicious!
What You Will Need:
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 1/4 teaspoons yeast (both instant and active dry yeast work)
- 1/2 Tablespoons salt
- 2 1/4 cups flour

How To Make Instant Pot Homemade Bread
Follow along with the step-by-step process photos and then print out the full recipe and instructions below!
Line and grease a 6-8″ cake pan that can fit easily inside your instant pot.
Place the trivet in your IP and add 1 cup water.
Put your flour in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, combine the water, yeast and salt.
Let the yeast proof for about 3 minutes.
Add the liquid mixture into the flour.
This is a no-knead recipe, so just mix the dough by hand until no dry patches appear.
Fold the dough out into the prepared cake pan
Place the cake pan in the IP and place the lid on top (do not need to secure).
Select the “keep warm setting” and let the dough rise for 2 hours.
After the dough has doubled, you can refrigerate or continue baking.
Secure the lid and select manual for 45 minutes.
If you want to sprinkle on Italian seasoning, you can do so just before securing the lid to cook.
Once done, allow the pressure to naturally release.
Remove carefully from the Instant Pot and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
Toast the bread under the broiler of your oven for 5 minutes for a crispy crust.
If wanting a garlic bread, spread your garlic glaze on top before toasting.

Notes
